# Managing Members

This guide covers adding and removing members from your DevKeepr team.

## Adding Members

Add members by entering their email address on the team management page. There are three scenarios depending on the recipient:

- **Not yet registered.** The email is saved. When that person creates a DevKeepr account with the same email, they are automatically linked to your team and receive Pro access.
- **Registered, no Pro licence.** They are added to the team immediately and gain Pro access with one device slot.
- **Registered, already has Pro.** They are added to the team. Their personal Pro device slots remain, and the team seat adds one more slot on top.

In each case, the member receives an email notification. Unregistered users get an invitation to create a DevKeepr account. Registered users without Pro get a welcome email confirming their new team access. Registered users who already have Pro are notified that a team seat has been added to their account.

In all cases the member's email appears on your team page so you can track who has been assigned.

## Auto-Linking Unregistered Users

When you add an email that does not belong to an existing account, DevKeepr saves the assignment. As soon as that person signs up with the same email address, they are automatically linked to your team and receive Pro access. No extra steps required from you or the new member.

## Removing Members

Click the remove button next to a member's name on the team management page. Their Pro access from the team seat is revoked immediately. If they have a personal Pro licence, that licence is unaffected.
